Teak bedside table
Reclaimed teak top, metal legs
A golden grain, a deep patina, great resistance: we turn reclaimed teak into made-to-measure tabletops, tables, headboards and armchairs.
Teak is a dense wood, rich in natural oils, known for its resistance to moisture and to time. When old, it has already taken on its patina: the grain is marked, the colour ranges from honey to golden brown, and every piece is different.
We work reclaimed teak into tabletops, root and live-edge slabs, terrace tables and benches, large tables for covered terraces, headboards, armchairs and bedside tables.
Length and width to suit your room and the number of guests: every tabletop is made to measure.
Wooden, metal or stainless steel legs, depending on the style you want.
Colourless, oil or wax, to keep the warm tone of the teak.
Day to day, a soft cloth and a little neutral soapy water are enough. To revive the wood, it is nourished with an oil suited to teak, applied along the grain.
It depends on the thickness of the top, the condition and age of the wood, the size and the craftsmanship. As each piece is made to measure, we give you an estimate from photos or at the workshop.
Teak has a straight or slightly wavy grain, a colour ranging from honey to golden brown and a slightly oily feel due to its natural oils. If in doubt, a professional can check it on site or from photos.
Clean the wood with neutral soapy water, sand lightly along the grain if the surface is damaged, then nourish it with a suitable oil. Avoid harsh strippers.
Advantages: a dense, stable wood, resistant to moisture, with a beautiful warm colour. Drawbacks: a precious wood, therefore more expensive, which turns grey outdoors if it is not maintained.
Yes: tabletops in solid reclaimed oak, in wide, thick boards, as well as in reclaimed pine and suar. They are on the page of our solid oak and raw wood tables.
Teak is the outdoor wood par excellence. In the open air, it gradually turns grey; we advise you on the finish suited to a terrace.
Size, legs, finish: we design the tabletop with you.
