Made-to-measure reclaimed wood gates

Hinged, sliding or tilting, in old cladding or unplaned oak: the gate announces the place without giving it away.

Reclaimed wood gate

The first thing you see of a property.

A reclaimed wood gate announces the place without betraying it. In our workshop in Eygalières we make hinged, sliding and tilting gates to measure, in old cladding, raw old oak, old pine or thermally treated pine, with forged nails, latch, frame, strap hinges and pintles, antique espagnolette bolt.

Every gate is designed for its opening, between two stone pillars or in the wall of a mas: width, height, number of leaves, integrated pedestrian door, fixed transom. A made-to-measure wooden wicket gate, in the same reclaimed wood and with the same ironwork, can go with the gate.

The wood is chosen for the look you want: grey old cladding, raw or brushed, raw old oak, old pine, thermally treated pine, natural or painted, or wagon flooring in vertical boards. The antique ironwork, strap hinges, pintles and espagnolette bolt, is chosen with the wood.

Three types

Hinged, sliding, tilting.

  • Hinged

Two leaves in raw old oak or old pine, forged nails, latch, strap hinges and pintles, with or without a pedestrian door: the traditional courtyard gate.

  • Sliding

In old cladding or old oak, on a black rail, for an entrance where the leaves cannot open inwards.

  • Tilting

In grey old cladding, old oak or wagon flooring, sometimes electrified, sometimes with an integrated pedestrian door, as on the front of a mas.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us most often.

Do you make made-to-measure reclaimed wood gates?

Yes. Width, height, type of opening, reclaimed oak, pine or old cladding: we study your opening and design the gate with you.

Which woods for a gate?

Raw reclaimed oak, grey old cladding, raw or brushed, old pine, thermally treated pine, natural or painted, and wagon flooring: woods with a raw look that suits properties with character.

Can a reclaimed wood gate be motorised?

Yes: a tilting gate can be electrified. Motorisation is studied with you, depending on the opening and the type of gate.

Can a gate include a pedestrian door?

Yes: a pedestrian door can be built into the gate, with or without a fixed transom. It is designed together with the leaves, in the same wood.

Do you make a made-to-measure wooden wicket gate?

Yes: a made-to-measure wooden wicket gate, in the same reclaimed wood and with the same ironwork as the gate, to go with a gate or to close a pedestrian passage. Width, height, wood and fittings are chosen with you.
